Welcome to St. James the Less Parish, Fr. Lewis King! With great joy, we welcome Fr. King to our parish. As a seminarian, Fr. King spent the summer of 2019 and some months in 2020 during the pandemic with us here at St. James and now we welcome him as a newly ordained priest! He brings many wonderful gifts to our parish and I am looking forward to the many abundant fruits his ministry will produce in our community. At all the masses this weekend, you will get a chance to meet him. Please welcome him as he begins his priestly ministry and journey here!
First parishes leave a strong mark on a priest’s life and ministry. St. James will have a role in forming and framing his priesthood. I look forward to all the Lord Jesus has to give us through Fr. King and all that He has to give Fr. King through us!
Fr. Lewis King, you are most welcome! Ad multos annos!

Happy Independence Day!
Tuesday, July 4th, we celebrate as a nation our Independence Day! We have much to be proud of in the founding and history of our nation and the rights, liberties, and ideals are eternal truths. No history of any nation is perfect because of sinful man, but in the United States of America there is much for which to be thankful. We should always strive to be true to the principles and ideals put forth by our founding fathers knowing full well that we always have need for improvement. God bless these United States of America!
May you and your families have a safe and happy Independence Day and may the blessings of Almighty God be showered upon you!
