Vacation Bible School

We had a successful Vacation Bible School this past week for around 50 young people! They explored and deepened their relationship with God through prayer, song, learning, crafts, and good fun! Thank you to everyone who participated and a special thanks to all the volunteers who made this week possible! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Summer Office Hours

Monday, June 17, the Church Office will shift to Summer Hours and be available for people to drop in Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In the afternoon, staff will be available by phone, but the office will be closed. Some of us may still have meetings and will be around but we will not be receiving anyone stopping by the office in the afternoon. Please note this shift in hours.

Thank you!

Wednesday, June 5th, I celebrated 20 years of priestly ministry with a mass and a reception. It was beautiful and elegant! I was deeply honored and encouraged by all who came and dropped notes and just by your presence. Your love, support, and generosity touched me greatly and made a large impact on me. It shows your love and appreciation not just for me, but for the priesthood of Jesus Christ. The priesthood is a gift to us. Without it there would be no Eucharist, no Mass, no Confession, no Anointing or Last Rites. The calling to the priesthood and to serve the beautiful and holy people of God is an honor and a blessing. I would do it all over again! Thank you so much for your love, appreciation and support!

As we enter the depths of summer, may the Lord grant you abundant rest and relaxation on your vacations! May the bring about renewal and rejuvenation!

Don’t forget to tend to your spiritual life as we tend to our need to slow down a bit and rest! There is no break to our relationship with Jesus!

May the Lord Jesus bless you and your families abundantly this week!
