St. James Catholic School begins on Monday, August 14th! Welcome back to our returning students and families, faculty and staff! We are looking forward to a great year in the classroom, on the playground, and on the courts and fields! Welcome to our new teachers and students who will be joining our St. James family for the first time! We are so glad you are here with us and join us in the magnificent things the Lord is doing here in our school! You will each be a blessing to our community!
Our school has been helping parents form their children into disciples of Jesus Christ and members of the community since 1956 and we continue this tradition into this 2023 – 2024 school year. The Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary have been serving here from the beginning and we look forward to another year with them! Thank you for your beautiful example to our community.
Benedictine and St. Vincent Academy have begun and the Cadets and Saints are fully into their 3rd and 2nd weeks, respectively. We are praying for our St. James young men and women as they begin their year! For all of our college students, our prayers are with you as well as you begin your Fall Semesters here in Savannah and beyond! Know that you are always part of our St. James family!
The Solemnity of the Assumption
Tuesday, August 15th, is a Holy Day of Obligation as we celebrate the Assumption of our Blessed Mother Mary into heaven body and soul. Our masses will be at 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 5:30 PM. I look forward to seeing you there to celebrate our Mother Mary and all the Almighty God did for, in, and through her! Come celebrate our Mother!
Please pray for our beloved returning students, families, faculty, and staff!
May you and your families have a wonderful week and may the blessings of Almighty God be showered upon you!
